Came in this afternoon after getting a lunchtime haircut. L
Basically, I just needed something quick and easy that I could take back to work to scarf down. This shop is in the same plaza as my barber and fit the bill nicely.
It's a quaint little Mexican food restaurant, with limited seating. There were several people inside when I entered, which I took as a good sign that the food was decent.
I placed an order for a carne asada burrito and took a seat. My burrito came out a few minutes later and I took it to go. They do have a salsa bar inside, but I was in a hurry and opted not to take any with me less I find myself wearing it later in my haste.
My burrito was good, even without salsa. The meat was tender and well-marinated. No pics this time since I inhaled my order while I was at work. I'm trying not to make a habit of that.
I'd come back if I'm in the area and hankering for some good Mexican food. -

Always friendly
Always clean
Super fast
Great value for your $
Food taste awesome
Only one thing is bad BUT ITS NOT the restaurant fault...it's the bar across the parking lot! Everyone for the bar takes up the parking so I'm sure the taco shop loses a lot of business!
Trust me people park on the street and take a little walk....ITS WORTH it!
We love there

Best most authentic and super nice service.
It's a small place and that actually makes it better -

This is a solid taco shop in the PQ area serving all of your mexican favorites. The Carne Asada ia great, but I didn't like their Cali Burrito, the potatoes were soggy and it lacked flavor in general. The carne asada fries and chicken soup are my two favorites from here and I would reccomend it to anyone. This is your basic SD taco shop with what you would come to expect, fresh salsa, etc..
Dependable and good, wikl go back. -

Recommended solid local taco shop. Pretty good selection of all of your favorites. Pleasant service. Not super-inviting dining room, so I prefer takeout. Food can take a while to come out, but it's well packaged. It should still be hot when you get home. In the unlikely event that it isn't still warm, the hot sauces are pretty spicy. The medium red was enough for me. Didn't even try the spicy red.
They seem to be proud of their Chicken Soup, but I haven't tried it. Burritos are pretty reasonable. I think I liked my Fish Burrito on my first visit. Pollo Asado Burrito was great and just like old school Carne- meat, guac and Pico de Gallo- that's it!! My son liked his Breakfast Burrito. Daughter's Carne Asada quesadilla was just OK. Wish there were more topping choices than Carne Asada for the Super Chips and Fries.
I expect to make several more trips here. Note that this doesn't have super late hours. I don't think they're ever open past 10.
